Q: Can setup be done outside of rental hours?
A: No. The setup and tear down for your project must be done within the allotted time booked.
Q: Is there a list of the equipment available for rent?
A: Yes! You can find that HERE
Q: Is CCFS equipment covered under insurance?
A: Yes. We have coverage on the equipment available for rent at CCFS. If you are renting our equipment, we require that a damage waiver be signed. If you would like to also provide your own insurance, you are welcome to do so!
Q: Is there an Elevator?
A: Unfortunately, no.
Q: How big is the space?
A: Casting Central Film Studio is appx. 1300 sq. feet.
Q: Can we have a tour?
A: There are many pictures of the sets available as well as the open layout of the space found HERE . If you feel you would still like to arrange to view the space prior to booking, please contact us and we'll set something up!
Q: Is there a props list available?
A: Our list of props is continuously growing. You can find the current list HERE
Q: Is there a parking lot/loading area?
A: There is ample parking available right outside our space.
Q: Is there a deposit required before filming? How much?
A: The full payment for the space is due upon booking.
Q: Is there storage for our own equipment if we are renting over a several day period?
A: Yes! You are welcome to leave any of your own equipment/props/materials behind in the space for the duration of the time booked. There is extra space to store things out of the way in our office/make-up area.
Q: Is there a cleaning fee?
A: We ask that you leave the space as you found it. Please remove your garbage (there is a garbage drop-off area located in the parking lot.) If you have made use of the kitchen, please clean up after yourself and leave the washroom in a good state. If these guidelines are not met, a $50 cleaning fee will be charged to your card.
Q: What happens if I have to cancel my booking?
A: You are able to cancel or change your booking only within 24 HRS of making the booking.
