Q: Why are you doing this?
A: As actors, this is the kind of opportunity that we wish we had. With the help of Lewis Baumander and Casting Central, we are trying to make it a reality.
Q: How do I submit?
A: We host an event once a month and will post the dates on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/ccfilmstudioto
Submissions are accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. The first people that submit their scene are going to get into Ideal Reels. ;) In order to be considered, you must submit a written script of the scene you would like to do by no later than the posted date.

Q: Do I have to bring my own props?
A: We will have the set fully designed and ready to go to highlight your scene. If you have a special item you’d like to bring that fits your scene, bring it.
Q: Do I have to bring my own reader?
A: We will have one male reader and one female reader available. If you’d like to bring your own reader feel free to bring them along.
Q: Can I watch the other performances?
A: Yes, you can watch, but it has to be at the beginning of the block (each set change will have a different block of time), and this will be at the discretion of the actor working at that time.
Q: Will there be coaching or direction?
A: This is a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere, so we will be there to help
if you need/want it. It is expected that you come prepared with your scene fully off book and ready to shoot.
Q: What if I'm not selected?
A: As part of our event we will also be asking for readers, PAs, extras, etc. If there is extra time, no shows, etc then you may get a chance to do your scene! Also, we are hoping to make Ideal Reels a more regular event for actors in the new year so make sure to join the FB page to keep up-to-date on future Ideal Reel events.
